Harry come for a walk ...

Today is a beautiful day in London. It would be so nice to have Harry come and visit and we all go to the park for a nice tour. I just suggested to Ezio that if we had bikes and he had stopped coughing up his lungs for a while - we could have gone for a great bike ride out there. It's very cold but would be ok on a bike, with full scarves and masks and duck down jackets on. Instead, i am cooking some Christmas treats to share with friends and family - it's all domestic but fun at the same time. Have a good one. Ciao ciao.

Christmas Gingerbread Houses

It is that time of the year to create the Christmas cheer and have some fun with the students. Our Year 10s created their own Gingerbread houses - below is mine - it's a precut house from IKEA, but constructed and decorated by moi. C'est simple but fun at the same time. HO HO HO

The Alternative Christmas Party

Lots of products being produced in the home kitchen has been reflecting what has been happening in the kitchens at work with the girls. This week, Ezio and I hosted Italy for a pre-Christmas evening. Starters included some mini quiche of various flavours. Entree were some cheese and spinach dumplings which were steamed then served in a napoli tomato based sauce. Mains included a make your own handroll - think Japanese style seaweed with sushi rice, filled with chicken, beef or salmon. Dessert included Tiramisu from Patrizia - it was delicious and mini Lemon Meringue pies - just continuing with the mini-foods theme from work.

Finally - The e-Mail

After receiving an email from the assistant of the mortgage broker informing me of a delay in processing the loan applications, i was more than pleasantly surprised when Tony, Mr. Mortgage Broker 2007, wrote to me to inform me that I was now the proud owner of a mortgage. I am but very happy and overjoyed.
Jordi,

I am pleased to confirm that your mortgage offer was issued today.
I have attached a copy for your information - you will receive an
original copy in the post.
A copy will also be forwarded to your solicitor.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything further.

Regards,

Tony

It's still a waiting game as we all have to wait for the vendors to settle on their new place in order for me to then move in and do the little updates that I am wanting to do in the first instance. It's all good fun, this waiting game ... I just be patient and wait to see what happens ... the longer it takes, the money, I hope I will have to to more of the 'updates' that I want to do.
